Master-Interlook:Update program to the new release

Introduction

This article describes how to perform operations on the transition to the new release of the program. Updated by the system administrator. The administrator must have full rights to editing, adding and deleting files on the client machine, have the right to the sysadmin server role on the level of MS SQL Server, have sufficient rights to update the application files on the server IIS. As well have sufficient rights to update the files in your PS "Master Service "(for version 9.2 only).

Client-side update

In the case of a local use of PS "Master-Interlook" update consists of the following steps:

Replacing client program files

In case of upgrade to the new release to be replaced all the files in the root directory of the program, except for the following:

• File sql.ini - contains settings for connecting to the database program
• Key files and (or) file-license (name may vary depending on the version)

Server-side update

Updating the database of PS "Master-Interlook" is incremental in nature. This means that when you upgrade from a minor release for a senior to perform all the intermediate upgrade scripts. For example, when upgrading from release 9.2.19 to 9.2.21 release, you must first update script Release 9.2.20, and only then release the update script 9.2.21.

Reports update

If the files are available installers release reports must upgrade these reports.
Update reports is done by re-install of reports in database.

Plug-ins update

If in the files of release are available plug-in files they must be updated.
Update plugin is done by simply replacing the files in the program directory.

Update data exchange with PS "Master-Tour"

If you use a PS "Master-Interlook" together with data exchange for the PS "Master Tour" update consists of the following steps (in addition to the above):

Обновление файлов веб-сервиса

Обновление производится путем замены всех файлов веб-сервиса кроме файла web.config (если в примечаниях к релизу не указано, что данный файл подлежит обновлению).

Обновление файлов плагина обмена данными для ПК "Мастер-Тур"

Обновление производится путем замены всех файлов плагина обмена для ПК "Мастер-Тур" (данные файлы помещаются совместно с файлам других плагинов в основную директорию ПК "Мастер-Тур").

Обновление файлов автоматического плагина обмена данными для ПК "Мастер-Сервис"

Данное обновление производится путем повторной установки плагинов для ПК "Мастер-Сервис". Данная установка аналогична первичной установке.

Обновление базы данных ПК "Мастер-Тур"(если были изменения)

В том случае, если база данных ПК "Мастер-Тур" требует изменения (данный факт должен быть отражен в примечаниях к релизу) необходимо выполнения соответствующего скрипта обновления (данный скрипт дожен поставлятся совместно с файлами релиза ПК "Мастер-Interlook").
