Master-Interlook:How to work with data
Introduction
Before operating in the program it is needed to fill in data in the dictionaries. Due to the peculiarities of the technological platform directories filling data has limitations and requires compliance with the rules set out below.
Practices for working with directories
Attention! Any removal or alteration of data directly in the database (passing interface) can lead to failure of the program or the appearance of logical errors in the program
When filled \ data changes in the references should observe the following rules:
- Do not perform creation \ deletion of data in reference to the case of related data (the operation is not supported in all cases)
- Not to bind \ unbind signs (such as a stay in the directory of partners for the partner-hotel) in dictionary in the case there is related data (eg establishments prices) (because this operation is not supported in all cases)
- Initially, the program comes with the data filled in the regions of Greece. In the absence of the need to work with Greece, we recommend the empty database (see Known Issues below).
Known Issues
- When working with existing geographical data (countries, regions, cities) there may be problems with the removal of such data (even if with them anywhere in the program is no work) - for this reason, it is recommended in the case of installation of the program "from scratch" to create an empty database (blank geographic data).
